Politics 2000 is a brand spanking new site that is dedicated to revealing the best political articles on the Internet. Some articles may be opinion articles, while others could be based on theory, some exclusively factual news articles, while others could be works of fiction. The idea of this site is to create a world for lawyers and politicos to interact and serve up the web's best. The value of this site is two fold, it'll offer some of the latest news available on the Internet while allowing the people decide what articles are worth reading, accurate, and/or agreeable. This site does not substitute your traditional news sites. In fact, this website is more of a hobbyist and political fan site, rather than an end all, be all political authority.
That said, because you have the benefit of voting and user interaction as well as comments from people "in the know", you might find some of the information on this website invaluable for research, analyzing public opinion, and other political and legal trends. Like all websites, this website will evolve with the community and in order to keep true to the spirit of the Internet, this website will remain free and evolve based on user feedback and requests.
One of the most fascinating aspects of belonging to an online community and sharing the Internet with hundreds of millions of people around the world is the ability of communities to grow from infancy to Internet adulthood. What you bring to the table is the ability to mold this website, its community, and contribute to the direction of this evolving idea.
